Hi there, I'm Monica. I'm currently a senior reporter for HuffPost’s Lifestyle team. I help people lead better lives and understand the chaos of the news with daily news stories, reader callouts, actionable advice, and explainers.

My writing has also appeared in Quartz, Fusion, Slate, Real Life Magazine and The Hairpin.

As a digital leader, I am interested in what’s next. For Facebook’s trending news team, I edited a large group of writers to produce conversational, short summaries on breaking news, awards shows, and global events that were seen by millions on social media.

My background: I am a graduate of NYU's New Media and Digital Innovation program, I'm a member of Poynter's Diversity in Digital Leadership inaugural class, and I am Williams College's 2013 Jones Fellowship in Journalism recipient.
